Review: Boscia Clear Complexion Kit

I have been a ProActiv user since I was about 14 years old, when I began having skin issues and saw one of the infomercials. Now that I'm 24, I figured it was likely time for a change; not to mention that ProActiv started drying my skin out like no other and seemed to have stopped working like it used to. I was with my best friend Lindsay at our neighborhood Sephora (we barricade ourselves there for about 2 hours every Saturday) and she bought some items from the Boscia line. After hearing her rave about them, I decided to try it out for myself. After all, what better confidence booster is there than knowing you have completely clear skin?

I bought the Clear Complexion Kit thinking that it would be the most appropriate for my problem skin. I was not disappointed. It has been nearly two weeks now and my skin has never looked better. My cheeks are baby-butt soft, there is not an imperfection in sight, and I even have better tone and smaller pores. This is an all-natural product line, with no preservatives, no alcohol, and 100% natural fragrance and color. In other words, these products contain totally skin-friendly ingredients! Sounds good to me.

CLEANSER: This stuff is like silk in a bottle. It has a gel-like consistency that goes on smooth and effortlessly. It lathers up (but not too much) and a little goes a very long way. The cleanser does not dry me out, even when used religiously A.M. and P.M., and my face is literally squeaky-clean after use.

TONIC (toner): I've never used anything with this consistency before. You are supposed to spray it directly onto your face instead of using a cotton ball to apply like I used to do with most of my toners. A few small squirts are more than enough, and once on, I use my fingers to rub it in. It soaks in like your skin has been thirsting for it; in a matter of seconds it's like you never put it on. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

CLEAR COMPLEXION GEL: Again, wonderful product. You use this as the next to last step in the regime, before the moisturizer. This gel soaks in much like the tonic does; you can use it all over to prevent blemishes, and I dab a little extra on blemishes that are already there. It isn't tacky, doesn't dry to a weird film on your face, and pretty much disappears on the skin.

MOISTURIZER: I wasn't impressed with this product at first. It seemed like a run of the mill oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15. I started using my Clean&Clear oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 but noticed that there were some blemishes popping up. I reverted back to this moisturizer and bam! No more blemishes. Obviously there is something in this product my skin likes. Much like the other products, this moisturizer is light, soaks right in, and doesn't dry filmy or feel greasy.

RATING: 5 out of 5 stars. By far the best product line-up I've ever put on my face. I will be using this well into the foreseeable future. Please try this out! I plan on buying some of the other products in the line.

I used this product for the first time this morning. I was skeptical that anything all-natural would have enough 'power' to tackle my skin issues, but I've decided to give it a try. I have tried ProActiv, AcneFree Sever, and various prescriptions under the care of a dermatologist... all with not much success. I have small bumps, whiteheads, and larger red pimples on my face, and am pretty oily. Since using this kit this morning, I have noticed that my face has not gotten oily throughout the entire day! (Normally, I need to blot once or twice an hour!). Also, it might be my imagination, but it seems like my pimples are shrinking, and I haven't felt any new ones forming under the surface (which is an everyday occurence for me). I've been disappointed before, so I will keep my fingers crossed that I will get similar results as other people I have heard about.
